A patch test is not mandatory for lash extensions but if you would like to have patch test then please arrange one for 48 hours before your treatment.
We advise a patch test to clients who have sensitivities, who are pregnant or haven’t had lash extensions before.
Brow tidy clients must have a tint patch test at least 24 hours before the treatment.
It is the clients responsibility to arrange a patch test.
18 AND UNDER
Due to insurance clients who are 16 and under will need written consent from their parent or guardian for the treatment to take place, and a parent or guardian must be present during the treatment process.
To secure an appointment, we require a non-refundable booking fee which is 50% of the treatment price. This fee will be discounted off the cost of your treatment. Payment is made when you initially book, either by PayPal or bank transfer. We require at least 24 hours’ notice for any clients that need to cancel. If clients cancel with under 24 hours notice or do not show, they will be required the pay the full amount of the treatment.

ARRIVING ON TIME
Please let us know if you are going to be late for your appointment, we can usually allow for a few minutes, however we may have clients after your appointment. So if you are over 15 minutes late, we may cancel your appointment and the above cancellation terms will apply. Please also bear in mind that if you arrive early for your appointment we may be with another client or busy getting the beauty room prepared for you.
It is your responsibility as the owner, to take care of any property you bring into the salon. We take no responsibility for any property which is lost or damaged, unless it is damaged by us due to carelessness. Anything left in the salon will be held for 6 weeks, we will do our best to contact you to retrieve your property.
*Friends and family members are not permitted during your appointment.

NHS + MATERNITY EXEMPT 20% DISCOUNT
If you are eligible for our NHS + Maternity discount we please ask you to bring along your staff card/ maternity exemption card. You must be the holder of the card and we may ask to see further identification. Cannot be used in conjuction with any other offer.

YOUR PRIVACY AND DATA
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) act is an EU legislation effective from 25 May 2018. This affects everyone, you as the consumer have rights to your data and what businesses do with it. Ava Scarlett Beauty collects, handles and stores personal data on our clients for a number of reasons.
1. We will collect certain personal and health information to check that our treatments are suitable and safe to perform on you. This is required for our insurance – and for your safety!
2. We will request your contact details such as address, telephone number and email address so that we can contact your for appointment purposes such as sending appointment confirmations, updates, reminders and patch tests.
3. We may ask for permission to take your photograph during a treatment to share the pictures on our social media platforms to promote our services.
The information that we collect will be stored securely on our Salon Software for as long as you are an active client, or for 7 years otherwise, as required by our insurer. You can, at any time request to see the data that we hold for you and ask that this is amended or deleted.
